Late Summer Weekend Tour — A Gastronomic and Scenic Cycling Experience

Experience a magical late summer weekend where taste, nature and pleasant moments come into a higher unity.

Start your journey at the Gastrominoen with a warm welcome and coffee, followed by an exciting tour of the Thornæs Distilleri located on site. Here you will get an insight into the history and craft of the distillery. The evening features a dinner at KITCHEN Gastrominoen, where fresh ingredients and local specialties create an unforgettable culinary experience. Bicycles and maps are handed out, and you cycle a small evening ride along Solbjerg Engsø, to Haldbjerg Nature Campus, where you check into our comfortable glamping tents. This will be your cozy base all weekend.

Saturday morning starts with a tasty breakfast, after which the bike ride leads to a visit to Butik Bakkegården, where you can explore their selection. After that, lunch awaits you at the Rhubarb Farm, where you can enjoy the idyllic surroundings. The bike tour continues along Arresø, Denmark's largest lake, to Garbolund, where you will get an inspiring tour and wine tasting. The day ends with dinner at Haldbjerg Nature Campus, and a relaxing evening under the starry sky.

Sunday begins with breakfast, after which the tour moves on to the Ensign House for a coffee break. From Ensign House you cycle along the Esrum Lake where you can enjoy the beautiful scenery before you reach the Esrum Kloster where lunch is served. You will have the opportunity to explore the monastery at your own pace. The tour ends with a tour and wine tasting at Høbjerg Vin, before returning to Gastrominoen and the weekend ends with fond memories of taste, nature and community.
