Day Trip in Gribskov The day begins at 9 a.m. at Gastrominoen, where we offer coffee on the terrace overlooking Solbjerg Engsø. Bicycles and maps are handed out here, and we review today's program. The bike tour starts with a visit to the microbrewery Det Våde sheep in Græsted. The passionate owners, Marianne and Henrik, give you a tour where they share their knowledge and let you taste their exciting selection of beers. After this, the tour goes through Valby Hegn to Holløse, where lunch is served at Rhubarb Farm. A unique place that lives up to its motto: “Organic from land to table”. After lunch, continue along Arresø towards Annisse and Vingården Garbolund. Here you will get a tour of the winery, which produces natural wines, and you will have the opportunity to taste the wines in the charming courtyard. The day ends on the terrace where it all started, now at Thornæs Distilleri, with whom we share an address. Here we alternate the coffee with tastings of the distillery's whiskey and gin.

Day trip Halsnæs

The tour starts in Ågabet at Arresødal, this is the name of the small canal and the old fishing village, which has now been converted into a Visitor Center on Denmark's largest lake, Arresø. At Ågabet Outdoor Center, over a cup of coffee, you will be handed your bikes and cards and we will review the day's experiences with you. The first leg of the tour goes through Arresødal and further down through Frederiksværk town and along Roskilde Fjord to Thorup Marked, which is a market for local food. Here you have time on your own before touring the Dyssekilde Ecosamfund. This is Denmark's oldest ecological village, and here more than 200 people live in the 90 peculiar dwellings. After the tour, the tour continues along cozy country roads through Tømmerup Village to Hundested, where lunch is enjoyed at Knud - Spisehus. From here, the tour goes via Knud Rasmussen's House and idyllic Kikhavn, to the cozy visitor farm Tothaven, known for their fine goat cheese and delicious ice cream, made with goat's milk. Coffee and ice cream are served here. The rest of the trip goes along the north coast to Liseleje, where we recommend a swim stop before the tour ends at Ågabet.

Late Summer Weekend Tour — A Gastronomic and Scenic Cycling Experience Experience a magical late summer weekend where taste, nature and pleasant moments come into a higher unity. Start your journey at the Gastrominoen with a warm welcome and coffee, followed by an exciting tour of the Thornæs Distilleri located on site. Here you will get an insight into the history and craft of the distillery. The evening features a dinner at the Gastrominoen, where fresh produce and local specialties create an unforgettable culinary experience. Bicycles and maps are handed out, and you cycle a small evening walk along Solbjerg Engsø, to Haldbjerg Naturcampus, where you check into your comfortable glamping tent. This will be your cozy base all weekend Saturday morning starts with a tasty breakfast, after which the bike ride leads to the microbrewery Det Våde sheep in Græsted. The passionate owners, Marianne and Henrik, give you a tour where they share their knowledge and let you taste their exciting selection of beers. After that, lunch awaits you at the Rhubarb Farm, where you can enjoy the idyllic surroundings. The bike tour continues along Arresø, Denmark's largest lake, to Garbolund, where you will get an inspiring tour and wine tasting. The day ends with dinner at Haldbjerg Nature Campus, and a relaxing evening under the starry sky. Sunday begins with breakfast, after which the tour moves on to the Ensign House for a coffee break. From Ensign House you cycle along the Esrum Lake, where you can enjoy the beautiful scenery before you reach the Esrum Kloster where lunch is served. You will have the opportunity to explore the monastery at your own pace. The tour ends with a tour and wine tasting at Høbjerg Vin, before returning to Gastrominoen and the weekend ends with fond memories of taste, nature and community.

Join us for a fantastic weekend trip at the Gastrominoen, where flavours and cycling merge into an unforgettable journey. The tour begins with a warm welcome and introduction to the program, followed by a guided tour at Thornæs Distilleri. Dinner this evening is enjoyed at the Gastrominoen on the terrace in front of the distillery. After dinner, bicycles and cards are handed out, and a cozy tour is rolled around Solbjerg Engsø to be accommodated in our cozy glamping tents at Haldbjerg Nature Campus. Saturday starts with a good breakfast before the day offers exciting experiences. The bike tour starts with a visit to the microbrewery Det Våde sheep in Græsted. The passionate owners, Marianne and Henrik, give you a tour where they share their knowledge and let you taste their exciting selection of beers. Then enjoy a lovely lunch at the Rhubarb Farm and there is time to explore Torup Market on your own. Later you can enjoy coffee and ice cream at Is Salonen before the day ends with accommodation and dinner at Frederiksværk Hotel. Sunday offers a relaxing morning with breakfast at the hotel. The first stop of the bike tour is a coffee break in the old fishing village at Ågabet Outdoor Center. From there, take the bikes on the boat MS Frederikke, which sails you from Ågabet to Ramløse Havn. The tour ends with wine tasting and lunch at Garbolund, before returning to Gastrominoen with memories of an experience full of taste, nature and coziness.

The Short Gribskov

Half-day bike tour at Gastrominoen Gribskov — Taste, nature and pleasant experiences Welcome to a sensual cycling experience through taste and scenic surroundings. The tour begins at Gastrominoen, on the terrace overlooking Solbjerg Engsø. Depending on whether you start on Friday afternoon or Saturday morning, the tour includes the same, just in different order. Bicycles and maps are handed out, and the day's programme is reviewed in a leisurely manner. You follow the paths around Solbjerg Engsø. Along the way you can enjoy the serene nature, bird life and beautiful surroundings while heading towards Høbjerg Vin. An inspiring tour awaits you here, where you will get an insight into wine production and taste a selection of the farm's best wines. After the wine tasting, cycle back to the terrace at the Gastrominoen*. Either enjoy a delicious lunch filled with fresh, local produce on Saturday, or an equally delicious dinner on Friday night, both at Gastrominoen. At the end of the tour you will visit Thornæs Distilleri, which is located on site (Friday before dinner, Saturday after lunch). Here you will get a tour of the distillery's universe and taste their exquisite whiskey and gin while learning about the production and history behind the distillery. A sensual day filled with flavor, cycling and scenic surroundings—perfect for a short but content-rich getaway!
